WAY SMALLER THAN EXPECTED
1I ORDERED BASED ON THE SIZING CHART. THE SUIT WAS MUCH SMALLER THAN ANTICIPATED. NOT IN COVERAGE; BUT IN FIT. I SHOULD HAVE ORDERED A TRUE WAIST SIZE. FYI: I'M A 32" WAIST; 155 POUNDS.

WORST BUYING EXPERIENCE EVER !
1In spite of Speedo's acknowledgement that a Fitness Solar 1" indicates that the 1" is the dimension of the side seam, the suit actually has a 2 1/2" side seam. I wrote 2 e-mails, made at least 5 calls to Speedo customer service, explaining the problem. Letters were ignored, telephone calls not returned as promised and returns are a pain, especially when the replacement suit is identical to the returned suit ( w/ a 2 1/2" side seam). I was promised that the replacement would have the correct 1" side seam dimension. I feel like Speedo's Customer Service could CARE LESS about me. Despite my best efforts to communicate w/ Speedo, I'm left feeling that the right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing. Lack of knowledge by customer service is PATHETIC ! Sunfreak

Good product in the right color
5Old men can look good also when in shape and having a good tan! Ask my wife. I have waited for speedo to have an all white suit for quite a while. It is here now!

Still Wearing Speedo swimsuits!
5Once you don a Speedo, nothing else compares. I am now 53 years old and still in reasonably good shape at 6'0" and 185lbs. I would not go swimming in anything but a Speedo suit. Board shorts are fine for surfing, wake-boarding, knee-boarding and the like. Swimming and getting a tan, now thats a job for Speedo brief style suits. I just purchased a pair of the Solar briefs in Lava Gray as a replacement for the same model in black. Time to try a new color plus my pool and spa surfaces have finally gotten the best of the last pair after a couple of years. The 1" side gives me the best freedom of movement that I've found and fits my physique like it was tailored for me. I have been wearing Speedo products for more than 40 years and will probably for the rest of my swimming life.

I would buy this product again and again
5Feels very comfortable specially in water, the fit is perfect for me. I would like you to make it saphire again and include patterns, not only solid colors.

Excellent suit
5I was hesitant to purchase this product not having used a 1" before. However, I was pleasantly surprised. It has a great fit. I am a middle-aged, heterosexual, happily married man with a reasonably athletic build for my age. For my 31" waist the size 30 fit perfectly, almost as if it had been custom tailored for me. The front is fully lined. It is very comfortable especially in the water. It isn't all that different from wearing the regular swim brief as far as coverage it just seems to have a lower rise. Once experiencing a swim brief that has a great fit it is hard to imagine ever using board shorts to go swimming or be in the water. It has the added advantage that my wife likes the way it looks on me.
