VERY POOR QUALITY CONTROL
1VBought 6 supposedly IDENTICAL (except for color) Fitness Solar 1-inch briefs, ALL size 32. Some made in China, some in Vietnam. CLEARLY not identical. Half fit perfectly, half measurably too small irrespective of where manufactured. Half had double-thick fabric, half did not. Not exactly what you would expect from a "premium" swimwear brand. That's what you get for offshoring manufacturing.

The go to brief for everything!
5I use only this brief for everything I do. I use this brief all day in the jet ski rental business so I am wet on and off all day. I never get chaffed and it fits like a glove. It dries quickly. I, like most American men was a little uptight about wearing Speedo, but now I cannot imagine a day of work without one. I started with the more modest ones, but as I evolved, I chose the solar fitness brief.It might feel a little snug at first, but after a weeks use it fits like a glove. It is the perfect brief for athletic uses and I cycle at least 20 miles in it, swim a mile everyday, and wear it as an under garment when at the gym, and of course, I use it all day at work. I get a season out of one before they wear out. If you use them in the pool with chlorine, then rinse immediately and you will get 3 to 5 months out of one before the chlorine wear them out.Do not run them through the dryer.

Great suit but too large
4Great suit but the size at a 38 which matched the size of my last Speedo was too big. I will order another one a tad smaller. I like the new charcoal grey color and the wider black draw string looks good and does not knot up like thinner white one on my last Speedo.

Love this suit!
5I just love this suit, cant say enough about how glad I am that Speedo added this to their line, and for including sizes up to 38, which I am. Its so comfortable I don't want to take it off, so when it dries I just wear as underwear for the rest of the day. I like how it fits around the openings, waist and legs - not too tight and not at all loose, like it was made just for me. I wore it to Panama City Beach today and got looks (and smirks) from several people, simply because Im the only guy in a Speedo, but I don't care. When you wear board shorts, they slow you down in the water, fill with air bubbles that make you rise, collect sand that causes a rash and cling to you like a suction cup. With this speedo all that is gone, I don't know why more guys don't at least try one just for the heck of it. If they did Im sure they would never go back to board shorts. You can be heterosexual and a non-competitive swimmer and still wear a speedo and get away with it. I proudly wear this suit to the beach now and don't give a rats posterior what others think, unless of course they like it!

Fantastic Brief
5I was somewhat hesitant to swap from swim shorts to briefs, but have found them so much more comfortable. The solar is especially comfortable, because of the higher cut. I'm a 31" waist, and the 30 fits me perfectly. Plenty of coverage at the back. Speedo - please make this available in the UK - this is a super product.

4A decent substitute for the 1" Solar of old, which really was 1". This new suit is 1.5". Still, it fits well and my wife likes it. Note on sizing: I have a 30-31" waist but take a size 34 in this suit--typical for this type of suit.

Great Product
5Order TRUE to size, do not follow online recommendations. I had to return due to size being too small following site recommendations. A 28 is a 28, not a 30.
