new favorite suit
5I've bought other swim briefs strictly on price. I got a good deal on Speedo suits and fell in love with the fit and finish of Speedo all over again... I especially love the Lava Gray. I'm 6-4, 207#, 36 waist and bought a 38 suit. I swim 2-4 miles a week, 4-6 times a week, so I rotate between 6 suits (3 Speedo's, 2Sporti's, and a Nike). The Solar Speedo fits how I want my suit to fit...snug, but not skin tight. Others who like skin tight suits could order waist size. The suit has stretched out some over the dozen or so uses, but still fits like it was made for me. The front seam makes the front pouch slightly larger and the rear seam molds around the butt cheeks in a flattering way. Dries very fast. Covers just past the butt crack and low rise in the front is maybe 3-inches above my hardware. Sides on the 38 are closer to 2-inches. Definitely a suit you need to be in reasonable shape and well groomed. I LOVE to way I lookin them!

You can not go by the size chart on these briefs! smaller!

Very Comfortable Suit
5I use this suit when I am doing my swimming workout. It allows for varied levels of intensity with no restriction. It has a nice flattering cut. Haven't found any drawbacks as of yet.

Gret Fit, Striking Color
5I swim a mile four times a week. The fabric of this Solar seems a bit stronger (maybe more durable?) than some of the other Solar colors - but all the Solars I have seem quite durable (black, navy blue, lava grey, and now "orange crush"). This is not a suit for anyone not in pretty good shape and the Orange Crush color is not for anyone of a "conservative" nature. Good value and great fit.

SIZE CHART INCORRECT!!!
1I ordered a Medium as the size chart states that if you order 32 size, it should fit someone who's waist is 33 or 34, but when I received my bikini, it was too small for me to pull it all the way up to my waist, it wouldn't come up after I placed both legs in them. I returned them which is very inconvenient!! SPEEDO customer service told me they don't send out the next size up automatically once I return the smaller size. I would be refunded and I would need to place another order!?? What's wrong with Speedo?? It's 2016!!! So inconvenient for the consumers!! This is why I hate shopping online because you can't try them on.

Bulky Butt
3I agree, a bit bulky in the rear. The older so called 1" briefs are single layer in the rear and feel much lighter and are cooler on the beach. Also, the narrowest part is somewhere between an 1 and 3/4 inch and 2 inches
