Dissapointing
2 out of 5 stars
What a dissapointment. Bought a suit like this from speedo many years ago. I am small. 5' 1" and 108 pounds. That old suit fit nice and snug and secure in the leg openings. This new one was loose and rode up, and too large in the seat.....had to send it back....still waiting for my refund.

PowerFLEX fabric stands up to chlorine
4 out of 5 stars
Other suits claim to stand up to daily chlorine exposure, and then begin to show wear and tear after less than a month. I have been in the pool with this suit everyday for almost a month. It still looks brand new.

Perfect for lap swimming
5 out of 5 stars
I bought this for lap swimming, and it fits the bill. I worried that this back design would make the suit hard to get off after swimming, when the suit was wet, but it's so stretchy it comes on and off easily. It stays in place and doesn't rub anywhere when lap swimming.

Not Chlorine Resistant!
1 out of 5 stars
I swim laps 3 to 4 times per week. Three years ago I bought a Speedo chlorine resistant swimsuit that performed beautifully. After 2.5 years I replaced it with the Speedo PowerFLEX, not because of any material wear, but because I went down a size and the elasticity was starting to sag in the butt. I have had this PowerFLEX suit now for just over 3 months and the fabric is deteriorating across the stomach and back. It looks like a cheap swimsuit that wears from chlorine after over a year of use. Two pictures included. The black suit with blue stripes is my old Speedo where the material shows NO deterioration. The blue Speedo PowerFLEX is the new suit which clearly shows the material degradation. I am very disappointed and would appreciate knowing if Speedo still carries a good chlorine resistant material. Please recommend a suit similar to my old Speedo!

what's happened to Speedo
1 out of 5 stars
I had a Speedo from Amazon that quickly faded (eventually went from Navy to Beige with some interesting in between colors) and lasted less than two month. Context: I swim an hour/5 days a week. I was disappointed, but someone suggested I might have ended up with a knock-off from a 3rd party dealer. So I ordered this suit directly from Speedo. I have swam in it 3 times, rinsed it well and spun it afterwards. The fading is already marked and noticeable (the inside seams still show the darker, original color). I can only hope that it lasts, but do not have high hopes. If it doesn't last, this is my last Speedo.
