Amazing goggles, but they broke within a week!!

These were amazing goggles, I've been using them for practice and racing. But with this pair, they broke within a week of using them right before my race when I tried to tighten the strap.

lens film peeled off when i removed plastic covering

Not even one swim..took straight out of the box and removed the plastic lens cover (says removed before use) and immediately it peeled off half of the the lens coating from one of the eye pieces. Such lousy quality is really surprising and disappointing as I have several older pairs (different models though)..

Two pairs purchased. Both broke in the same place.

Purchased two pairs of these, for two kids on swim team. Both were broken within a month, at the same place, on the side where the strap connects to the eye piece. So far Speedo Customer Service has been less than helpful. I'll purchase a different brand next season.
