The fins are great for improving my swim workouts at the YMCA. I would recommend them to a friend.

Bought them for my 4-yr.old granddaughter. She's taken swim lessons, and the fins really helped her work on her technique while getting through the water. If they floated they'd be perfect! They were a little big and fell of a few times. That can be fixed by wearing socks until she grows into them.

Have used speedo fins for many years for laps in pool and in ocean off Palm Beach, FL. Took years for them to tear on each side over the toes. This new pair tore in just over a month; two several inch tears on one fin and two inch-long tears on the other. I'm going to try again with a new pair but I'm afraid the product is not made as well as before. Also, in my size, 10 1/2, the color is gray and black, which is both ugly for swim gear and makes them hard to retrieve if one gets away from you in the ocean because they're so hard to see.
