We got these water shoes for our 14 month olds first trip to the beach and we couldn't be happier! He was so unsure of the sand and did not like it touching his feet. As soon as we put these on he was literally running up and down! They seemed very comfortable. He would stick his little feet out for us to put them on as soon as he saw them! They stayed on getting in and out of the water and protected his feet from the hot sand.
