Second pair of these in my swim bag....
5I train in these at least 3 times per week. The rubber is pliable and thus very easy on the feet. Fin size just right for fitness workouts.

Rubber over toes rips easily
2Fit well, but too expensive to replace twice a year. The quality of the rubber is poor and the fins rip easily. Fins from other brands have last 2-3 years, Speedo fins lasted about 8 months.

not great for wide feet
2Hurts putting it on-- opening is too narrow for my toes, they bunch together, pinching on the outside of my big toe. Seeing all the reviews about how this area cracks and fails, looks like I have more to worry about than blisters. Limited options for me-- I'm size 14 wide, so I'll try it out in the water and hope for the best

5I used the size chart and the fit is perfect. I purchased these specifically for a Masters Stroke Clinic and I am really enjoying using them

Fins ripped
1I ordered these fins in January, but started using in March. I swim a lot, but my other fins I have had for years are still all in one piece while these fins started tearing around the toes in late August....I am very very disappointed and probably will never order fro Speedo again...before the tearing I loved these fins.

Love the performance but they fell apart
2A dissapointment...I swim 5x/week, and love the fit and performance of the fins, but after 6 months the fins started cracking around the toe hole, both sides. On both fins, where the arch joins with the fin. The small cracks quickly spread and the fins failed as the rubber ripped open wide. Nice feel, but just dont last.

Love the fins but there is a problem...
3I love the way the design performs as I swim laps, well balanced thrust vs resistance, however....the fins have begun to significantly rip apart near the toe opening on both sides of the toe, where tne arch over the foot meets the fin, on both fins. Very dissapointing.

strengthening quads, flexing ankles, perfecting form
4I use these swim fins to build strength/endurance for triathlons and long-distance swims and to perfect my kicking form. As an added bonus, it really relieves the anterior ankle impingement by stretching my ankles out. (People often use fins to increase flexibility in their ankles, which improves kick form and power.) Using the fins really helped me build up my quad strength, especially when doing the back stroke. I also find it helps my glute and core strength, but not as much as my quads. I also found I could swim for a longer amount of time without irritating my rotator cuff, which sometimes flares up in a hard swim workout. I wear size 6-6.5/36 in street shoes, and I wear size 7-7.5 in running shoes (second, brooks, and nike). The red X-small were a little too loose on me. They worked fine in the pool, but then I stupidly wore them in the Gulf of Mexico...and lost one of the fins! Boo. By I will buy the same fins in the same size, as I fear the xx-small will be too tight. But I sure won't be wearing them in the ocean, no matter how calm the seas seem!
