We thought silicone was the best cap but tore within 2 weeks

I have long hair so I purchased this long hair cap thinking it would be better than my other non-Speedo caps but those silicone caps lasted over a year; this one tore within 2 weeks of use. Silicone needs to be thinker and/or more durable to last for at least a single swim season.
