2I bought a pair of these trunks in navy. I swim in a chlorinated pool. I noticed white discoloration, and they seemed to wear out in the front and rear very dissatisfied. This happened in less than one season of us..

Good fit with a modest profile.
5I purchased these shorts when I found my regular board shorts bunched up and became uncomfortable while seated my pedal kayak. On arrival I discovered that there is a seam in the center as well as the sides, I had made my purchasing decision based on not seeing a seam in the product images. As it turned out, the front liner fits slightly snugger than the trunk and the seam causes no irritation. I have used these a dozen times since purchase and have had no water rash. I am 35" at the hips with muscular thighs, the large fits perfectly and does not drag down in the water, even while being towed on an inner tube by a power boat. I wear these under regular shorts on my way too and from the water, they do not hold water and are reasonably dry within 15 minutes - I like not having to change out of them before getting in the car.

Reliable training suit. It works fine for me.
4Good coverage and decent fit when adjusting for the fact that it runs small. Need to buy at least a size up from the usual. If it came in a couple of other colors I'd buy one or two more: Dark red, forest green for example.

I have bought this product again and again
5If you're too old for classic Speedo briefs but need something light and streamlined for lap swimming, this is a good choice. I settled on these about five years ago and have been buying them regularly ever since then. Like all lycra suits, it loses its spring and fades over time, but still lasts a good while. I swim laps three times a week and buy a new suit every six months or so.

Sizes are inconsistent
2I use mine around the pool with my wife sunbathing. I really wish the sizes were more consistent, it makes me fearful to buy again. Otherwise, I really like the product and would have several of them.

Consider a larger size than usual
4I think the Shoreline Square Leg is one of the nicest styles around, especially for older men who want a little coverage but also a streamlined profile for lap swimming. The first one I bought (Medium) was too small even though I buy other Speedo suits in Medium. So I exchanged it for a Large, and it's fine.
