If it came in contemporary cut, I would be happier
3I was in need of replacing my old lap suit. I have been in plus size for speedo since I was in high school. Much to my dismay when I started looking for a new suit I came to the realization that every single swimsuit manufacturer including speedo has made plus size suits only in moderate and conservative leg cuts. Unfortunately I cannot replace my suit with a new one. This was the best I could get and I'm not happy about owning it. It was just the best of bad swimsuit choices for me. Just because I don't have an ideal swimmers body doesn't mean I want to wear a suit that has a leg cut from pre-1950. For 20 years I've been wearing speedo suits for water aerobics, lap swimming, lifeguarding, and masters swim and those suits had a leg cut that allowed full range of motion and didn't cut into my thigh. Now, this suit limits my range motion and cuts into my thigh. I loved the standard proback swimsuit that I had many years ago. I wish speedo would just make that suit into larger sizes. If they're unwilling to do that, I wish they would bring back the contemporary cut to their plus sizes, that is found throughout the rest of the line of swimwear. As far as color and other points people may be interested in, I can't tell yet because I just bought the suit. One other point this suit fit truer to size. I like the new athletic bras in the other suits, but those suits ran small. So, I chose this for being truer to fit.

Don't Like the POWERFLEX :(
1new material has too much give. been wearing this suit for 6 years - i've swam 1000's of miles and i HATE the new material. it moves around so there is chafing. as an open water marathon swimmer i'm really bummed about the change
