Is not too shiny and fits great and comfy ….. for serious swimmers 

Make no mistake, this suit is gold !  There are two concerns I worry about when ordering from Speedo, the actual color and the sizing. When I received the suit I was very satisfied. The color is real gold- almost a shiny finish and I thought, quite revealing trying it on. I have not had the suit in the water.  The sizing runs small and I did size up and the fit is proper. The cut is a “full brief cut”, not the solar cut. The only negative is it’s a fully lined suit.  I think the fabric is thick enough not to line the back and I may have it removed. The front needs a liner.  The material is soft and stretchy, very comfortable. I bought the suit as a “novelty”, but in truth it’s nice- not a competition suit, but not at all tacky either.  I will wear it and I even bought a second pare.  In conclusion, I would recommend this suit, specially if you want something different. It’s cool. 

Material is soft on the skin and I prefer it over other materials used in other briefs. Compression is perfect...no drag whatsoever...which weighs heavily in determining star rating. This suit would merit a five- star rating if it weren't for the stitching in the waistband and and left outseam, where the threading has broken in three different areas. This has occurred in spite of painstaking care in maintaining the suit as directed per instructions given in the Swimming 101 section on the website. I am very happy with front lining only. Speedo, please consider going back to using gusset linings instead of the full frontal linings. I didn't have to size up or down in respect to my usual waist size. After several swims, in spite of the above -mentioned stitching mishaps, I've decided to keep the suit. I called Speedo about the stitching and they were willing to offer me partial credit toward another suit. I'm not going to bother pursuing receiving the credit, since I like to rotate the use of this suit with the PowerFlex Eco brief. I'll keep using this suit until the stitching becomes too flawed. I'd still purchase this suit again, just for comfort. I'd hope for better stitching, though. I've been swimming three months in the PowerFlex, and the stitching is still flawless after about more than fifty swims.

Most speedo suits run small for me. I'm a 32, so I go to a 34. This suit I had to go to a 36 which fits great.
