The MDR 2.4 is the best fit for my face
4Years ago, when Sports Authority still existed, I spent a great deal of time in the store trying on every goggle available, looking for the best fit. That is when I discovered the MDR 2.4 goggles; they suctioned around my eyes with no effort. After making the purchase and trying them out, the no-leak fit was just as anticipated. As the years went on, I needed to replace them, which I did several years ago in late 2018; the fit wasn't quite exactly like my previous one, but it was still good and no leaks. The internal plastic nosepiece (covered with rubber) eventually broke (in 2021), but the rubber that helped keep the eye-parts connected was still holding. I needed to get another MDR 2.4 replacement soon; but, after searching for months, I could no longer find them. I started trying different models, but they all leaked; none of them were as 100% leak-free as the MDR 2.4's. To my astonishment, Speedo sent out a promotional email, advertising free MDR 2.4 goggles with a minimum purchase - I was completely shocked, being that previous searches and customer service inquiries indicated they were extinct. Needless to say, I placed a purchase for several of these goggles, hoping to last me for many years to come, fearing the MDR 2.4's would never be manufactured again. After placing 3 different orders, waiting for months on each order, each order would eventually get canceled and never be fulfilled. I contacted customer service, who eventually discovered something wrong in their system that was preventing the orders from getting filled, fixed it, and I finally received the goggles! These are my third MDR 2.4 goggles, slightly different from the previous, and slightly different from the goggles before that. The suction around my eyes is now nearly leak-free, with just a slight bit of water getting in after swimming a non-stop mile; I can deal with that, especially compared to other models that leaked terribly. One reason may be how they manufacture the nosepiece now; it doesn't have enough of a molded bend over my nose like previous MDR 2.4's did. Sadly, customer service informed me there was no way to adjust it. So now, these latest MDR 2.4 goggles, although they are not as perfect as previous versions, still work good enough and are still a much better fit than the many others I tried to replace them with when I thought the MDR 2.4's were no longer being manufactured.

Absolute TRASH, the Product and the Customer Service, AWFUL
1I purchased these and they did not work from day 1. I sent them back and no refunds. The product does not work, the engineering will not work. The customer service, if you can even contact them, is awful. I would never buy from them ever again, why get treated like trash and buy trash.

Not exactly right.
3The goggles feel good, the color and polarization are great. Unfortunately they fog up almost immediately . I wanted goggles that would be comfortable and provide plenty of protection and a wider field of vision for long swims. They fog up after about 100-200 yards. I also find the adjustment feature on the straps difficult to use.

Very Nice Recreational Swimming Goggle
5Once this goggle is properly fitted to its wearer, with Polarized lenses, it's great for outdoor lap swimming, is comfortable, pretty durable and there is minimal if any leaking. I've owned three pairs and would buy again.

Very Solid Multi-Use Set of Goggles, Built To Last.
5Well, if you're looking for a nice bulky pair of goggles that can take a beating and also provide comfort, look no further. I have been swimming competitively for some time now and have recently stopped using the popular Hydrospex 2 goggles in favor of these. This is truly an improved version of the Hydrospex 2 and it does not compromise on durability at all. I've bought a set in March 2018 to test out for practice and this thing performs awesome. It doesn't fog and fits nicely around the eyes and nose without major pressure build up or leakage. I really only have one legitimate concern about these goggles though and the lenses will scratch up a little faster than your normal set but that can be easily reduced by gentle handling and a good case. I now have 2 sets of this model and both preform great in competition and practice. I'm not really big on style but these do have an aerodynamic look that looks very sleek which is a nice bonus.

Going back
2Not as adjustable as the other versions of MDR 2.4. I have the mirrored, my adult son has the regular. The polarized are more rigid, less adjustable and not comfortable like the others. Will be exchanging for a different MDR 2.4

poor fit?!
2For a product that prides itself on its fit, it was frustrating to find that this goggle didn't fit at all. It seems to be designed for wide faces and narrow nose bridges, and its frame is too rigid to fit a wider range of faces: the outer flanges to seal without at the same time tightening them to the point that the inner flanges start to squeeze in on my eyes.
