My son uses this in his competitive swimming. We bought two of these, just so when one wears out, he has another!

It was my own fault in not realizing that these kinds of racing suits were developed a bit bigger than the specifications I expected for my physique. Although the suit is quite reliable in a race, it ultimately was not a good fit for me and built up water inside the suit during me races.

The waist fit, the hips, thighs, butt was too big. Even though we ordered a size 21, it was to big/ not the right shape for a 10yr old boy.

My son has a body type of a football OLB/DE: big & fat butt cheeks, legs like tree trunks, slimmer waist compared to the lower extremities. Speedo chart has his measurement at 21, however I couldn't even fit his big fat butt cheeks into the waist band of 22. We ended up going with 23 which is a little too big as there are some wrinkle on the back of the thighs despite of the tightness of the leg bands (it looks almost as if the leg bands are cutting off the circulation to the lower legs). As soon as he took it off, we could see the X shape "tape" print all over his legs. It appears, LZR X is designed for typical swimmer body type. So if you have football body type, this LZR X may not be the suit for you.

This was drastically small. I used the size chart and it was impossible to get on
