This silicone cap is easy to put on dry hair without any breakage. As an African American child coming up in the swim world back in the 90s silicone wasn’t an option we used the water trick to put on our caps or baby powder. Now with a 1 year old in a swim program with a little coarser hair than mine it’s important to me to protect her strands from chlorine/bromine damage. Plus she looks so cute in this little otter cap. 😍 First swim lesson I put this on her and it kept her hair dry from the 30 minute session in the water. I’m happy with this purchase and will be getting more silicone caps for my little.
