Not sure what happened
2Typically my son always uses these goggles. This time around, they constantly fell off everytime he dove into the pool during swim competition. Think we will be looking for something better from him. Do love the speedo brand.

Lenses are HORRIBLE!!!!
1They are comfortable. However, the lenses are the worst of the worst in terms of quality. The first pair I bought were ruined prior to even getting into the pool. I put saliva on the inside of the lens so they wouldn't fog up and while that kept the condensation away, the actually lens smeared immediately and the swirls wouldn't come off. I returned the goggles to the store thinking it was a manufacturing defect. Got a 2nd pair and they fogged up on the first lap. I tried to deal with not being about to see for about 10 minutes then I had to wipe the lenses. They smeared again. Three days later it looks as if condensation is somehow trapped in the lens. Contacted customer service and they were NO help. Buyer BEWARE!!!

Product no longer fits my face
1I have used various versions of this goggle for many years. The two pairs I received in this last order are markedly narrower (top to bottom) than the ones I have used in the past, and they no longer fit my face. They fit deeper into my eye socket and leak, making them all but useless to me. In addition, the adjustment clips are funky, although I've managed to get used to them in the last few pairs I've had, but the older, simpler clips were much easier to use. I will not be buying them again, and since there is nothing similar in Speedo's current google offerings, I guess I will have to look elsewhere for goggles that fit.

These are the best all-around practice goggles, ever!
5I have used this product personally for decades as an all around swim practice goggle, and for the beach. When we have swimmers that forget their practice goggles, we can always count on a good fit/seal with the Hydrospex and keep a few loaner pairs in the office for just such an event.

5first i bought Vanquisher and after this Hydrospex goggle and i stop using my Vanquisher because its more comfortable then Vanquisher.

Love them
4Fit the instant you put them on, no leaks or readjusting necessary. Sometimes they fog, but then the fog goes away and they are clear again. Only con is the raccoon eyes, but that is a small price to pay for all the pluses. I have tried many goggles, and these are the only ones I like.

Design Changes For the Worse
2I've been wearing Hydrospex Classic goggles for years. This new pair leaks continuously, and I belatedly realized it is a new design (the molding flips, see photos). Why mess with something that works? Speedo also changed the material used in its Endurance swimsuit, which is now an inferior product. If these changes are money-savers, I think most consumers would rather pay a slightly higher price for products of proven quality.
