My favorite suit
5The last one I had lasted longer than I expected before the chlorine got to the color. It started ripping before it faded, which surprised me. I used it mostly for practicing in the pool. In the sun.

I would buy speedo again
5I went off your sizing chart it showed I was a 32 . I think your chart is off I've returned these for the next size up. I can say with out a doubt these are very good quality . The lady helping me to return order was really great I'm looking forward to going swimming

Good Stuff
5Have tried about every brief available and have over 3 dozen styles and colors. With no doubt, these are the skimpiest of all, they fit well ( 31 waist ) and I ordered 34 which is perfect. Love them so much I ordered one in every color, the red and white ones have a full liner in front and back, all the other colors have liner in front only. They are not for the modest, but I wear for tanning and swimming in my pool. They actually get me motivated to do laps and ab workouts daily, because face it, you see so much of your body. At 59, too old for speedos, but do it anyways.

5I use this 2-3 times a week swimming laps at the gym and just relaxing at home. One of the best reasons I use the solar brief is how it wraps and conforms to the curve of your waist.

Disappointed with Change in Material
2I have been buying this model every few years for over 20 years. The last two purchases were identical. This purchase, of the same model, had the material changed in 2018, from what I have been told. Previously, it was made of 78% "recycled" Nylon and 22% Elastane. It is currently made of 91% Polyester and 9% Elastane. There was NO notification on the website as to what the swim suit is made of. This model feels significantly thinner, than the last two suits in nylon. I talked to Customer Service about the change, however, they were not interested in suggesting other models, that might be made of Nylon or might be Thicker

Great Swim Brief!
5Perfectly cut swim brief for lounging in the sun or pool, coverage is respectable, and provides great tan lines. Fabric feels great and looks good. Fits perfectly, true to size, and dries quickly. Absolutely love and highly recommend.

SIZES RUN WAY SMALL
1The sizes for this run way too small. I had heard that you needed to order larger than normal - I'm usually a 30 so I ordered a 34 and it is still too small! At this point the sizing issue is on the company. And they don't do exchanges.

Amazing Suit - Functional & Stylish
5I discovered the Solar 1" Brief about a year ago and now own a pair in every color. I've been wearing Speedos since my high school water polo days and these are without a doubt, the most comfortable suits ever. I predominantly use them for lap swimming, however, they are also great for open water training. The minimalist design allows for an increased range of motion versus the standard Speedo brief which also translates into a much more stylish look. The traditional brief can at times resemble an adult diaper whereas these are much more flattering. I highly recommend!

Too tight in the crotch
3The quality is great, and the overall fit is true to size, but the cut allows no room in the crotch. I constantly have to adjust. So uncomfortable.
