Varies by Color
Really love these suits but wanted to leave some advice for other buyers. I wear size 32 jeans and the 32 looks and fits great in black and blue. I ordered white and red in the same size and unfortunately they’re way too tight due to the extra lining in the back. I haven’t tried the next size up yet but am sure it’s a much better fit. The heather grey is a totally different material than the rest and kind of feels like underwear - it’s comfortable but not for the modest.

Size may be tight
My previous 1" Speedos were made in Mexico and 32" always fit me. These are made in Sri Lanka and these are tighter--I haven't swam in them yet but I think I'll get one size larger next time. The website description mentions Lycra and the tag sewn into the suit says 78% nylon/22% lycra, but the paper sales tag that you cut off the suit says 100% nylon.

One inch Solar black briefs
The lightest weight,best briefs that SPEEDO makes. As they are single seated, they become unserviceable (transparent) after 4-6 months of constant wear in the water

Nice Clean Look
These briefs feel great in and out of the water. Exactly what I wanted. I used the Speedo fitting guide based on my jean size/style and the fit is perfect, nothing is hanging out and there is no sagging fabric.

No this product. Maybe other.
It's not the male swimwear I ordered. The swimsuit I got was sewn in the middle and not on the sides like the other speedo swimsuits I have.

I have bought many Solar Briefs
I enjoy my solar brief for workouts and lap swims on the days that I feel like strutting my stuff. I just dropped from 32 to 30 and the fit is great

Wonderful fabric and yet the center stitching must go...
The design team must rethink of its design. There is absolutely no need for the center stitching when it is visually unpleasing and unnecessary from a design perspective. The fabric is amazing! Another point is why the elastic is so intense when you have a string / cord to make it as tight as one wish for? Otherwise, the cut is beautiful!

Good cut, but not 1 inch
I prefer briefs over jammer or square type swim suits for lap swimming and within briefs I much prefer a higher cut leg than the typical speedo which don't look flattering on me even though I've go low body fat. The cut on this suit is as good as you're going to get for a speedo, but it measures at 1.5 inch at top of my waist, so I'm not sure why its marketed as a 1 inch. I'm a 30 in pants size and got a 28 in this suit because I want the fit tight for lap swimming. It fits snug but I think it will stretch some so the 28 was a good choice.

Order 2 sizes up - Great suit - Flattering
I'm 6'0" 180 with a 32 inch waist. The 36 fits perfect. Order 2 sizes up. Great suit, very flattering.
